Dan Artaev is one of few Michigan attorneys dedicated to advising individuals and businesses in the eSports community. Dan relies on his extensive experience in the areas of business law, contracts, real estate, regulatory & administrative law, licensing, and appeals.  Prior to private practice, Dan was an Assistant Attorney General with the Michigan Department of Attorney General’s Labor Division, counseling state agencies on labor-related matters and both prosecuting and defending lawsuits on behalf of the State of Michigan.

Needless to say, Dan is an avid gamer and enjoys playing Magic the Gathering: Arena, Gran Tursimo, and old-school platformers on the Super Nintendo. Dan also considers himself to be an expert at two-player Agricola.

Dan graduated summa cum laude from Michigan State University College of Law in 2010, where he was Senior Notes Editor and executive board member of the Law Review.  In 2007, Dan received dual majors in Economics and German magna cum laude from Kalamazoo College, where Dan was also a four-year member of the NCAA Division III men’s tennis team.
